Ballmer: The Clippers are worth more than 2 billion dollars and will own this team until I die.
Live broadcast on November 7 recently, Clippers owner Steve Ballmer talked about the team’s planning in the Point Forward podcasting program.
Ballmer said: “If you look at the current value of this team, I am sure it has already exceeded 2 billion dollars. I will not sell the team, I will have the Clippers until I die, and then my family will decide what to do.”
2 billion dollars was the price Ballmer bought the Clippers in that year. In addition, Ballmer spent 1 billion dollars to build a new stadium and 0.4 billion dollars to remove obstacles to the construction of a new stadium.
