Live broadcast on November 3, Charles Barkley, a former NBA player and now famous basketball commentator, talked about Timberwolves’s previous deal with Gobel.
Barkley said: “They (Timberwolves) got two 7-foot (2-meter-13) High players like idiots, which is really a good deal.”
“I hate this deal. They can’t break down now. Maybe they can do it in our time, but they can’t prevent it in today’s games, whether on the offensive or defensive side, they can’t rule the restricted area.”
When Gobel and downs were present at the same time, the attack efficiency of Timberwolves was as low as 103.9, which was only higher than that of the Lakers (100.3) and Clippers (100.6) whose attack efficiency was the last two in the league.
This summer, Timberwolves sent out beisley, Beverly, Kessler (22 in the first round of this year), Vanderbilt and Leandro bolmaro, and sent out four first round signatures at the same time, only to get Gobel from jazz.
