Beasley said: “To be honest, I wanted to be an All-Star. I think I have the ability to do this, but the coach wanted me to lead the team on the bench.

“As a veteran with 7 years of experience, I can do this for my team and understand this role. At present, I am in a stage where I want to make money and win, so I am happy to sacrifice the starting position.

“Besides, I want to take part in the three-point match. I deserve to be selected last season. I am trying to continue this journey and be the best player I can.
