Coach of the West: I can’t take both attack and defense into consideration when I hit five with heavy eyebrows. I don’t understand why the Lakers don’t try and let him play four
Live Bar, November 22 recently, a coach from the West accepted an interview with Heavy reporter Sean Deveney, talking about Lakers player Davis.
He said, “What you see from him this year is why he always says he doesn’t want to play center. He did well on the offensive side, but he was under too much pressure on the defensive side. When there was another center and Davis on the spot, the Lakers were a better team.”
“The problem with the Lakers now is that Davis played well as a center but struggled in defense. Davis was stable in defense but not in attack when he didn’t play.”
“We saw the Celtics’s partner performance of Horford and Lowe last season. Today’s players have enough athletic ability and wisdom to hold the paint area while keeping the outside line. I don’t understand why the Lakers won’t try the line-up with heavy eyebrows and 4. They have nothing to lose.”
