Live Bar, November 6th recently, O’Neal talked about his MVP battle with Nash on The Big Podcast podcasting program.

Nash won the MVP in 2005 and 2006. For this, O’Neal said easily but seriously: “Steve ‘stole’ my two MVPs, I performed better than him in those two years.”

In the 04-05 season, Nash scored 15.5 points, 3.3 rebounds, 11.5 assists and 1 steals, with a three-point hit rate. O’Neal averaged 22.9 points, 10.4 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 2.3 cap, field goal percentage.

In the 05-06 season, Nash averaged 18.8 points 4.2 rebounds 10.5 assists 0.8 steals, with a three-point hit rate. O’Neal averaged 20 points 9.2 rebounds 1.9 assists 1.8 cap, field goal percentage 60%.
