Elvin Johnson, born on August 14, 1959in Michigan, USA, was a point guard on the court and was called “magician”. He was 2 meters 06 tall in the draft, he was one of the highest-standing point guards in the history of NBA at that time and was also regarded as the greatest point guard in history.
At the draft convention in 1979, the magician was selected by the Lakers with the first prize. Since then, he has started his 13-year career. The magician spent his entire career with the Lakers and became one of the greatest stars in the history of the Zijin Legion.
In 1991, in the routine physical examination before NBA season, the magician was diagnosed with HIV. On November 7 of the same year, he announced his retirement at the Lakers press conference.
