The image of the Suns mascot Gorilla is a Gorilla. Odom said, “You can’t find a Gorilla in the desert, you may find a cactus. Do you know what the craziest part is? “But in my opinion, choosing this mascot is not very suitable for the Sun, and gorillas are not very representative of Phoenix, because Phoenix is the last city to admit Martin Luther King Day.”
