Stackhouse talks about the 2006 finals: some blow penalty and doubt Wade’s free throws are a little more
Live Bar, November 18 recently, Jerry Stackhouse, a former Mavericks player and head coach of Vanderbilt University, talked about The 2006 finals in The “All The Smoke” program.
Stackhouse said: “Yes, there are many whistle to be doubted. People are still discussing this matter today. You worked very hard to gain the home advantage. You should not lag behind when you return to home again…… Some blow punishment is not good for us, they gradually play morale. We didn’t follow the game plan when defending Wade. His series was incredible, but he might have given a little more free throws (hahaha).”
In the 2006 finals, the 23-year-old Wade scored 34.7 points, 7.8 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 2.7 steals, and Wade scored 75 out of 97 free throws in 6 games.
